What the Referred User Gets
What the Referred User Must Do
They must be completely new to Proton Mail and use the referral link when signing up. Only new users are eligible to trigger rewards for the referrer.
What the Referrer Must Do
To join the program, you must have an active Proton Mail Plus, Proton Unlimited, Proton Family, or Proton Visionary plan, with no payment issues, and your subscription must be in EUR, USD, or CHF. You must then share your referral link (available via your account dashboard), and ensure your invitees use it at sign-up. Note that you are only eligible to participate while you're on one of these qualifying paid plans.
What the Referrer Gets
The referrer receives subscription credits once the referred user subscribes to a paid plan after their trial. The credit is $5 for a monthly subscription and $15 for a 12-month or longer subscription. While you can refer as many friends as you like, you can earn a maximum of $90 in referral credits total.
