What the Referred User Gets

The referred user (i.e., the supporter) does not receive a direct reward for using a Creator Code. However, they contribute to supporting their favorite creator when they make qualifying purchases or redemptions in Fortnite, Rocket League, or the Epic Games Store. Their support enables the creator to potentially earn a payout, but the supporter gains no financial or in-game bonus themselves.

What the Referred User Must Do

To support a creator, the referred user must:

- Enter the Creator Code in the appropriate place in-game (e.g., Fortnite’s “Support-A-Creator” button, Rocket League’s Item Shop) or use the creator’s attribution/referral links when purchasing games or items from the Epic Games Store.
- Their purchases or redemptions (using V-Bucks, Credits, or real money) must be attributed to the creator.

- Note: For Fortnite and Rocket League, the Creator Code remains active for 14 days, after which it must be re-entered if the user wants to continue supporting that creator.

What the Referrer Must Do

To participate, the creator (referrer) must:

1) Apply for the Support-A-Creator program via their Epic account.
2) Meet eligibility requirements:
- 2.1) Be a legal adult in their country.
- 2.2) Have at least 1,000 followers on one major platform (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, X/Twitter, or VK).
- 2.3) Be able to accept the program’s Terms of Service and abide by the Creator Content Guidelines.
- 2.4) Be capable of setting up a Hyperwallet payout account.
3) Once accepted, they must create and share their Creator Code and referral links.
4) They must also comply with FTC and Epic’s disclosure rules, clearly indicating that they may receive payment from purchases using their code (e.g., using “#Ad”, “#EpicPartner”, or similar).

What the Referrer Gets

If the creator’s supporters generate at least $100 USD in attributed purchases or redemptions within 12 consecutive months, the creator becomes eligible for a cash payout:

- Fortnite: 5% of the value of in-game purchases using the Creator Code (whether paid with earned or purchased V-Bucks).
- Rocket League: 5% of Credits spent in-game (Item Shop, Blueprints, Rocket Pass).
- Epic Games Store: A referral rate of minimum 5%, which can vary by game depending on the developer.

The reward is not guaranteed — if the $100 minimum is not reached within 12 months, the balance resets to zero. Once eligible, the payout is sent ~30 days after the end of the qualifying month. Participation in other Epic programs may allow earnings to be combined toward this threshold.
