We are committed to respecting your privacy and to maintaining a transparent approach regarding the very limited information we process.

3) Data Collection
AffiliaThor has no public user accounts or newsletter subscriptions. The optional “Submit a program” form stores the company and program details, official URLs, contact name, business email, declared terms and notes that a representative voluntarily provides. These details are available only in the authenticated review area and are never used to publish a listing automatically.
The partnership form uses session-based CSRF protection, a timing check, a hidden anti-spam field and duplicate-content detection. It does not store the submitter’s IP address or user agent in the submission record.
Affiliate redirect clicks may be measured when you use a /go affiliate redirect link. This measurement stores the program identifier, destination hash, timestamp, referrer origin only, a coarse browser family, and an IP-derived keyed hash. We do not store the raw IP address, full user agent, or full referring URL for these redirect events.
4) Analytics & Cookies (Matomo)
Matomo Analytics is prepared but may not be active on every deployment. Matomo is activated only when analytics is enabled; it then uses a self-hosted instance in cookieless mode, respects browser Do Not Track, and excludes private administration pages. The limited measurements are public page views and clicks on internal affiliate redirect routes; complete outbound affiliate URLs are not sent as event labels.
On deployments where Matomo is disabled, no Matomo script or tracking pixel is loaded. Before production activation, the deployment owner must validate the applicable legal basis, anonymization, retention and consent requirements.
5) Hosting
Hosting depends on the active deployment. The current pre-production deployment runs on a private virtual machine; migration to infrastructure operated by OVH Groupe SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France, is planned before production analytics activation. Server logs maintained by the active host may include IP addresses and timestamps for security and operations, with limited retention.
6) Legal Basis
Anonymous technical processing supports the legitimate interests of website security, performance and statistics. Partnership contact details are processed because the representative explicitly requests a program review and consents to being contacted about that submission. Providing the form is optional.
7) Data Retention
Anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 12 months for statistical purposes and then deleted or aggregated. Affiliate redirect click measurements are minimized and retained for 90 days by default. Partnership submissions may be retained for up to 24 months after the latest review activity, unless they must be kept longer for an active partnership or are deleted earlier upon a valid request.
8) Data Sharing & Transfers
We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties. Analytics data remains on infrastructure under our control and is not transferred outside the European Union.
9) Your Rights
If you submit partnership contact details, you may request access, correction or deletion, and may withdraw permission to be contacted. Contact us so we can identify the relevant submission and respond in line with applicable law.

10) Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the website and its underlying systems against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Access to the admin area is restricted to the owner.
